Indian Creek

Wahkeena Falls

Dog Mountain

Mount Hood
Tamanawas Falls
One of our favorites! 3.3 miles out and back trail rated moderate. It has a couple difficult parts where you need to trek over some rocks. Has parking off the highway and is ~70 miles from Portland. We like to stop at Mt Hood Brewing Co on the way home :)

Trillium Lake
On a clear day, one of the best views of Mt. Hood. It has a 1.9 mile flat loop trail around the lake and is ~ 60 miles from Portland. We've had a blast at this lake renting inflatable paddle boards! Rental link: (http://ottosskishop.com/rentals/stand-up-paddleboard-rentals/) located in Sandy and right on the way to the lake.

Ramona Falls
Moderate flat 7 mile loop trail with an 120 foot waterfall mid way through. It's ~50 miles from Portland and would take most people between 4-6 hours.

Tom, Dick, and Harry Mountain
Starts at the trailhead for Mirror Lake about 55 miles away from Portland. It's rate moderate, but and has some exhausting switchbacks but the view at the top is well worth it! It has incredible views of Mt Hood, Mirror lake, and the surrounding cascades on a clear day.

Silver Falls State Park
Oregon's largest state park with TEN waterfalls - four of which have trails that allow you to pass behind the flow of the falls. The park is ~54 miles South of Portland.
